I hate children

No, not mine but for the kids who came for the casting. I have to admit I hate casting. I hate it more when I have to deal with children. I’m no good with kids. But I have to deal with those kids who have never had experience working in front of camera. The worse thing is to work over Sunday just to cast 2 kids. WTF!

Some of the kids are good; they’re outspoken, easy to remember their lines and good intonation. But most of them will be getting too nervous in front of camera and they became very tense and monotonous in delivering lines. I have to keep motivating them over and over and OVER and OVER and OVER again as they have to repeat the same thing many times. The least thing I’d be expecting from the kids is they throw in tantrum. I’ll go crazy then, luckily, they behaved or maybe they afraid of Bear or US or too afraid to make mistakes, or else they’ll be beaten up by the parents (hey, it might happen, OK!). I don’t think I’ll have that kind of patience dealing with kids and normally I’ll ignore them. For the casting, I don’t have the choice! Arrgh… WTF!

My sis came over for the casting with two hopefuls, Hakim and Yaya. I don’t want to think whether they have the chances to host, but maybe this is a step to improve their speech or whatever… if they made it, I can’t imagine handling those 2 kids. They are very, I mean VEERYYYY uncontrollable. *sigh* so much for the unnecessary stress. WTF!

At the end of the day, it’s not the kids I’m thinking about, it’s the parents. Whenever the children can’t make it, I can sense despair in the parents tones and it’s sugar-coated with laughs. They are hoping to make the kids live up to the parents’ dreams. Ohh… WTF!

Izuan is unreachable, Irwan can't make it and we cancelled our outing. Mmm… WTF!
