truly malaysian?!
i went for a meeting with our WCF 06 organiser. i hate the committee meeting. it is always dragging and sometimes there would be no conclusion at all... (so after i'v been trying to look for landscaper to do the man-made waterfall... now the whole idea has gone down the drain and the new concept would be more 'zen' and of attributing symbolistic meanings, which means i have to look for somebody else to do the set design again...........)
after the meeting, we had light refreshment served at the patio of the office. i was starving and took slices of cakes, cucur udang... and started to eat. my boss was talking to wan zaleha pertaining our new project, mosques in malaysia. she seems interested in the matter and suggested few foundations for us to work with and to ask for sponsorship. i took a mug full of tea and sipped it. woow!! it's too hot... wait till it cold a bit i think. then my boss said he ought to make a move... 'oh oo! i havent finish my tea yet...arghhh, never mind... leave it there', my mind said. wan zaleha saw my mug of tea,'eh... why r u not finishing it?
'it's too hot...' i said.
'pour it into the paper cup so that u can bring it back' she said and leave us.
'mmm....' ok. i poured the tea into the paper cup and hand carried it. my collegue happened to see me did it and said,'why do u bring it back? you are truly malaysian......'
what! arent you malaysian too? 'oh, u r sooo mat salleh!' i replied.
'did i say am a mat salleh?' he tried to defend himself.
'arent you a malaysian too? wan zaleha asked me to. not that i really want to bring it back.'
'then, she is a supporter of truly malaysian...' he unconvincingly replied.
which one is the most viable? not to be a truly malaysian and waste that mug of tea OR be a truly malaysian and bring it back....
p/s: by the way, pembaziran tu kan perbuatan syaitan...
